Treatment overview
Over time, the skin gradually loses its firmness, elasticity, and vitality. Fine lines, an uneven complexion, and a tired appearance are often the first signs we notice — and the ones that most affect the impression we make.
Laser skin rejuvenation is a sophisticated, medically led approach that stimulates the skin’s natural renewal processes — without altering facial expression and without aggressive interventions.
At our laser centre, we use advanced systems such as Candela Nordlys, which allow precise and controlled treatment of skin quality at a high level of safety.
What makes these treatments so compelling is that the goal is not to “erase the years”, but to encourage the skin to function once again as a younger version of itself — which is precisely why the results look natural, never overdone.
How is the treatment performed?
The treatment is carried out by applying laser energy to the superficial and deeper layers of the skin.
During the treatment:
- the production of new collagen is stimulated
- skin structure and tone are improved
- the complexion becomes more even and irregularities are reduced
The procedure is precise and tailored to the condition of the skin, with the ability to adjust the intensity on an individual basis.
Who is the treatment for?
The treatment is ideal for individuals who:
- are noticing the first signs of ageing
- have fine lines and wrinkles
- have an uneven complexion or skin texture
- wish to refresh their appearance without invasive procedures
It is also suitable as a preventative treatment for maintaining skin quality.
Our approach
Skin rejuvenation is not one-size-fits-all — it is deeply personal.
At our clinic, every treatment is planned by a consultant dermatologist who assesses the condition of the skin, the pattern of ageing, and the patient’s expectations. We do not offer a “one treatment for all” approach; instead, we create an individual plan that makes sense for your skin.
We use the latest technologies, but what truly makes the difference is the time we dedicate to each patient — time for thorough assessment, clear explanation, and expert guidance throughout the process.
Our goal is not a dramatic change, but a subtle renewal that restores confidence in one’s own appearance.
Preparing for the treatment
Before the treatment, it is advisable to:
- avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks beforehand
- refrain from using harsh skincare products for a few days prior
- arrive with clean, product-free skin
An anaesthetic cream may be applied as required, depending on the type of treatment.
Recovery and precautions
Recovery depends on the intensity of the treatment, but is most commonly minimal to moderate.
Possible reactions:
- mild redness
- a sensation of warmth
- light peeling of the skin
Recommendations:
- use SPF sun protection
- avoid sun exposure and heat for several days
- follow the recommended post-treatment skincare routine
When will results be visible?
Initial results are visible within a few days, whilst the full effect develops gradually over several weeks.
Improvements include:
- firmer skin
- a more even complexion
- a fresher, more rested appearance
The result is natural and gradual.
