BOTOX – wrinkle treatment and reduction

Treatment overview

Botox is one of today’s most sought-after aesthetic treatments — but its true value isn’t in removing wrinkles, it’s in how it does so: subtly, in a controlled way, and without changing your facial expression.

It addresses the cause of expression lines — repeated muscle contractions that, over time, leave their mark on the skin. By relaxing those muscles, the skin smooths out and the face takes on a more rested, fresher appearance.

What makes Botox especially sophisticated is that it doesn’t act on the skin itself — it works on facial dynamics, which makes it one of the most precise anti-ageing tools available.

Botox has been used in medicine for decades and has become a global standard in aesthetic dermatology precisely because of its safety and predictability. Today it is increasingly used preventively — to stop deep wrinkles forming before they even develop.

If you want to look fresher without anyone noticing “what you’ve done” — Botox is often the first and smartest step.

How the treatment is performed

The treatment is carried out with very fine needles, with Botox injected into precisely selected muscles.

During the procedure:

  • facial movements and expressions are assessed
  • the exact injection points are determined
  • a minimal amount of product is administered

The aim is not to block movement — but to soften and control it.

The procedure itself takes a few minutes and requires no recovery time.

Who the treatment is for

The treatment is ideal for people who:

  • have expression lines (forehead, between the eyebrows, around the eyes)
  • notice a tired or “sterner” look on their face
  • want to act preventively against wrinkles
  • want a natural result without a visible change in expression

It is particularly well suited to people who want a discreet but effective result.

Our approach

With Botox, the difference is not in the product — it’s in understanding the face.

At our clinic the treatment is performed by dermatology specialists who approach each face individually, analysing its structure and movement.

We don’t work to a template.

We don’t aim to remove movement entirely — we aim to balance it. That’s why our results don’t look artificial, but natural and well-rested.

We take the time to understand what you want — and to explain what is genuinely best for your face.

More often than not, after treatment patients aren’t asked “have you had Botox?” — but
“you look fresher somehow, what have you changed?”

Preparing for the treatment

Before the treatment, we recommend:

  • avoiding alcohol for 24 hours beforehand
  • avoiding certain medications (as advised by your doctor)
  • arriving with clean skin

Recovery and precautions

There is virtually no recovery time.

After the treatment:

  • mild redness or small marks may appear
  • everyday activities can resume immediately

Recommendations:

  • avoid touching the treated area for a few hours
  • avoid lying down for a few hours after the treatment
  • avoid intense physical activity on the same day

When results become visible

Results develop gradually.

  • the first effects are visible after 3–5 days
  • the full result after 10–14 days

Outcome:

  • smoothed wrinkles
  • a more relaxed, fresher expression
  • a natural look without a “frozen” effect

Treatment combinations

For a complete anti-ageing result, Botox is often combined with treatments that act on skin quality and structure:

  • Candela Nordlys — for evening out skin tone and improving skin quality
  • CO2 Smaxel — for skin regeneration and texture
  • Morpheus8 — for tightening and collagen stimulation
  • HIFU — for lifting deeper structures
  • Icoone Laser Med — for microcirculation and regeneration

Additionally:

  • dermal fillers to restore volume
  • biostimulating treatments

Combinations are always planned individually — because Botox addresses expression, but not every other aspect of ageing.

    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

Here you’ll find answers to the questions our clients most often ask about our services and treatments.

+ Will I look unnatural or “frozen” after Botox?
No — when Botox is administered with skill and precision, the result is a fresh, well-rested appearance without losing your natural expression. That’s exactly why at our clinic we pay particular attention to individual assessment of facial movement and dosing, so the result is understated yet visibly refreshing.
+ When are the first results visible?
The first effects start to be noticeable within a few days, while the full effect develops over 10 to 14 days. By that point most patients notice they look more rested, even though the people around them often can’t pinpoint what has changed.
+ How long does the effect last?
The effect lasts on average 3 to 6 months, with variations depending on individual characteristics. With regular, properly managed treatments it is possible to maintain a natural, controlled result over the long term.
    + Is the treatment painful?
Discomfort is minimal and short-lived. Most patients describe the treatment as very tolerable, especially when carried out in the calm, controlled environment we provide for our patients.
+ Is there any recovery time after the treatment?
No — you can return to your everyday activities straight away, which makes this treatment ideal even for people with busy schedules.
+ When is the right time for Botox?
There is no universal rule. Botox is used both preventively and correctively, and the decision is always made after a professional assessment — which is exactly why a consultation plays a key role.
+ Why does it matter where I have Botox?
Because the result depends not on the product itself, but on the doctor’s knowledge, experience and aesthetic sense. That level of precision and individual approach is exactly what makes the difference in the final result.
