Preparing for the treatment
Prior to the treatment, a consultation with our specialist is recommended in order to assess the area to be treated. In some cases, it may be necessary to avoid sun exposure or to refrain from using certain skincare products for a few days before the procedure.
How is the treatment performed? (30-60 minutes)
The treatment itself takes between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the number and size of the skin lesions. Patients may experience a mild tingling sensation during the procedure, however an anaesthetic cream is applied to ensure the experience is as comfortable as possible.
Recovery and precautions
Following the treatment, the treated area may appear slightly red or swollen, which is a normal reaction that typically subsides within a few hours to a few days. Patients are able to resume their everyday activities immediately after the treatment.
Aftercare precautions
It is advisable to avoid sun exposure and to apply a high-factor sunscreen. Aggressive skincare products should also be avoided until the area has fully healed.
